Speaker 1: Dr. Andrew Michrowski, listed Who's Who in Technology is the President of Planetary Association for Clean Energy and Author of Numerous Reports & Publications on EMFs. He will be talking ON FREE ENERGY. Reflections on the negentropic multidimensional nature of the dynamics from which some free energy systems perform. An interdisciplinary review, with suggestions for a planetary synthesis. Ethiopia Focus: 47M small farmers live below the poverty line. Irrigation doubles/triples crop yields, reduces child stunting, and creates jobs. MA WellMap targets 60,000–120,000 km² of irrigable land.
AI Development: Partners with University of Arbaminch, George Mason University, and Czech Geological Survey. Uses gradient boosting for static water level prediction (19m error margin).
Conservation Agriculture: Soil moisture retention (organic matter holds 40x water weight) complements irrigation, saving costs.

About the Speaker:- Rupert Douglas-Bate, B.Sc, M.Sc, MBA, CEO/Founder, is a humanitarian aid worker who specialises in leading innovation teams to develop smart aid, mostly in the water sector. Today he leads an AI development team while also coaching executive AI talent.
He was born and grew up in the Middle East and has worked in MENA, Eastern Europe and other places.
His he and his wife Nathalie Houdret share a love of the outdoors, and are in the grandparent business !
Following a Thomson Reuters Foundation fellowship at Stanford University in 2002/3, Rupert founded Global MapAid (MapAid) in the UK and USA, dedicating approximately 50% of his time as an unpaid volunteer. MapAid focuses on challenges in disaster prevention or development through needs-based mapping, which improves cost savings and collaboration among decision-makers. Recognising the critical need for sustainable water solutions, particularly for small farmers, MapAid initiated the development of WellMapr™, an AI system for groundwater detection and mapping designed to improve the accuracy of shallow well drilling and digging. While the system has global applications to support the world’s 2.5 billion small farmers, much of the development and initial testing is happening in Ethiopia to support the 47 million small farmers living under the World Bank poverty line.
To support this initiative, Rupert secured funding and Gift-in-Kind (GIK) support from Arba Minch University (Southern Ethiopia) in 2016, George Mason University (Washington DC) in 2019, and the Czech Geological Survey in 2023. Since November 2019, this team of pioneer partners has invested over USD $1 million in WellMapr’s development, with Rupert currently leading and coaching the MapAid AI development team.
